New grant window opens for home improvement

The Home Improvement Grant Programme is now accepting applications for the 2025 funding cycle. This initiative provides financial assistance to eligible homeowners for essential repairs, renovations, and accessibility improvements.

Grant Details

The programme offers grants ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 TTD, depending on the scope of work and applicant eligibility. Priority is given to:

• Structural repairs and safety improvements
• Accessibility modifications for elderly or disabled residents
• Energy efficiency upgrades
• Roof repairs and waterproofing

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Home Improvement Grant, applicants must:

• Own and occupy the property as their primary residence
• Have a combined household income below $20,000 TTD per month
• Demonstrate financial need for the proposed improvements
• Obtain proper permits and use licensed contractors

Application Deadline

Applications must be submitted by August 31, 2025. Successful applicants will be notified by October 15, 2025, with work expected to commence by December 2025.
